This small chapel found on the grounds of Yosemite National Park is absolutely beautiful. It was snowing very hard while I was taking this picture (if you can zoom in on the chapel you can see). The chapel really sticks out amongst all the large snow covered trees.
Last weekend I took a short trip to Napa Valley and Yosemite. Napa Valley, a place that typically gets little rain, rained the entire time. Yosemite, which I expected snow, rained the entire first day and snowed so hard the second day that it made seeing anything that was beyond 100 yards very difficult. I was able to capture a few shots that I’ll be posting over the next few weeks.
Taken a few weeks ago.
When we lived in Avon Lake, OH we had a small park and walking path behind our house. Often times after it would snow I would go and try to capture an interesting picture. Unfortunately, I didn’t take many good ones. One morning to my surprise, it was foggy and I quickly snuck out to the path and got this.

Last year I did some hiking near my house. I came across this pond covered with ice. I decided to attempt a panoramic shot by taking multiple pictures and then stitching them together in Photoshop. Photoshop did a great job putting them together but I personally don’t like how I cut off the trees.
