It’s amazing what you will see in New Orleans. This is just one of them.

I realized last night my site was down. Unfortunately, I didn’t get it back up and working until tonight. Hopefully, I won’t have another problem for a while.
I took a series of images last week while visiting family. I’m getting accustomed to using my Leica M Monochrom mostly in low light situations. I’m still amazed on how well performs and the pictures it produces. Combining it with Leica’s new 50mm summicron APO creates a phenomenal pair! The 50mm APO was without question designed for this camera.

Last year I sold my Leica 50mm summilux to purchase the 35mm summilux FLE. Since that time, I’ve really missed having a more compact 50mm lens (I have the huge noctilux). When the Leica 50mm summicron APO was announced I pre-ordered it (Dale Photo). Today, it finally came in the mail and even though I’ve only take a few shots, I’m extremely impressed. I don’t think I’ve ever had or seen a lens that is as sharp as it. Here is one of my first shots.
