Exploring my first library book
I’m 4…
Recently, we celebrated my nephew’s 4th birthday. As you can see from the pictures, he was just a little excited.

Tower within a Frame part 2
Quick post today. Here’s another picture of downtown Chicago through a frame. I purposing focused on the statue to get a good depth of field. The shot came out pretty good.

What’s in my bag – Retro Lamp
I’ve been asked a few times what I carry in my bag. Here is a video showing what I typically carry.
I’m not sure why I was fascinated by this lamp (I posted a prior pic here). Maybe I was just mesmerized by the color of the light and the contrast created between it and the background with my Leica 50mm noctilux.

The Bean – revised
Often times I process an image and then decide later that it was not up to par or wasn’t what I really hoped it to be. This image is a perfect example. My prior post, when you look into “the bean” the sky is blown out. I don’t know why I didn’t pay attention to this before but like anything else, I learned from my mistake.
P.S. I plan on having my “what’s in my bag” video up in the next few days.

Welcome Storm part 2
Here’s another picture I took a few weeks ago right before a large storm.
P.S. I’m hoping to post another video this weekend showing what I routinely carry in my bag.

If you didn’t see my video discussing my typical settings for my Olympus OM-D yesterday, you can find it here.
Here is another picture taken at Millennium Park. I personally think the art and memorials at the park are well put together. Here is another one.

Faith & Storm – Olympus OM-D settings
I’ve posted a video displaying my micro 4/3 lenses and my routine setup for my Olympus OM-D. You can view it here.
Recently, a lot of storms have crossed our area. One evening I drove out to an old cemetery (I’ve posted a prior picture here) and shot some long exposures with my Nikon D800E. This is a 6 second shot. I really like the clouds.
