The Right Angle

Tower within a Frame part 2
The Bean – revised
Often times I process an image and then decide later that it was not up to par or wasn’t what I really hoped it to be. This image is a perfect example. My prior post, when you look into “the bean” the sky is blown out. I don’t know why I didn’t pay attention to this before but like anything else, I learned from my mistake.
P.S. I plan on having my “what’s in my bag” video up in the next few days.

Blue Eyes
The last few weeks I’ve put my Leica aside and spent most of the time shooting with my Nikon D800E. It has taken time getting accustomed to it because I’ve gotten so used to using a manual focus camera. The Nikon D800E is a very large camera in comparison to my Leica and even though I like the picture quality, my Leica will still be at my side the majority of the time. I love the challenge shooting with a manual focus camera. Also, I find it at times more difficult to shoot in autofocus because it doesn’t necessarily focus on what I want it to.
Here’s a recent picture of my beautiful baby girl. We were heading out for a wagon ride and the light coming into the garage really accentuated her beautiful blue eyes. She definitely got them from mommy.

Faith & Storm – Olympus OM-D settings
I’ve posted a video displaying my micro 4/3 lenses and my routine setup for my Olympus OM-D. You can view it here.
Recently, a lot of storms have crossed our area. One evening I drove out to an old cemetery (I’ve posted a prior picture here) and shot some long exposures with my Nikon D800E. This is a 6 second shot. I really like the clouds.
