If you are ever in Cleveland, OH. Huntington beach is a great place to take pictures at sunset. This was taken 3 years ago.
Pitfall
Every time I look at this pictures it reminds me of the Atari game Pitfall.

I really enjoy catching unique moments. I don’t shoot too many “posed” shots because they have less meaning (at least to me) and also to be honest you have to be very creative, especially if you want to shoot something different from others.
This was a shot I took last year of some friends of ours with their kids. I was trying to catch a unique perspective.
What’s next…
We had 2 official birthday parties for our baby girl. Her birthday was yesterday and we had a fantastic time. Last weekend we went back home to have a party also, and this pictures was taken after she began experimenting with her cake. She looks so content and ready for the next big thing.

Happy Birthday! She’s 1 year old…
As most of you know, our baby girl has officially turned 1 year old. It has been a wonderful and exciting year for both me and her mother. It’s truly amazing how fast she’s grown and we look forward to many more years of watching her mature.
Today’s post is an assortment of pictures taken through Lyla’s first year.

Where is he?
Most who know me, know my favorite camera to shoot with is my Leica M9-P. Yesterday, Leica announce a new M series camera called the Leica M Monochrome. At first, buying a camera that only shoots in black and white may sound a little crazy (especially for the price) but if you are someone who shoots a lot in black and white it makes some sense. The pictures I’ve seen have been astounding and the ability to shoot at ISO 10000 and still be useable makes it even more interesting (the Leica M9 does not shoot great beyond ISO 800). I noticed one of Steve Huff’s shots was ISO 2000 and 1/1500 of a second (WOW). Look forward to reading more about it.
I took this shot lost fall at the Lincoln Memorial. It was dark and I noticed her sitting patiently waiting for someone.
