It amazes me that 2 hours before this picture was taken, I was in a foot of snow.

It’s amazing that one minute you can be in the mountains covered by snow and the next minute have no snow and beautiful skies. As we were leaving Yosemite, following a more southern route on our way back to San Francisco I pulled off the road to take a picture of these rolling hills. In my opinion, this area is almost as beautiful as Yosemite. The east side of the interstate had even a better view but this will have to do.
This small chapel found on the grounds of Yosemite National Park is absolutely beautiful. It was snowing very hard while I was taking this picture (if you can zoom in on the chapel you can see). The chapel really sticks out amongst all the large snow covered trees.
Last weekend I took a short trip to Napa Valley and Yosemite. Napa Valley, a place that typically gets little rain, rained the entire time. Yosemite, which I expected snow, rained the entire first day and snowed so hard the second day that it made seeing anything that was beyond 100 yards very difficult. I was able to capture a few shots that I’ll be posting over the next few weeks.
